A lot of wonderful people have encouraged my writing over the years, as well as given me advice on how to improve. I name as many as my memory allows me to recall here, with much deserved gratitude: My mother Sharon and my sister Jennifer. My friends Anna Marsh, Michelle Scarberry, Tonja Brees, Terri McComis, and Ashleigh Meyer. Fellow fanfic writers Michael Gray, Joe Manno, Sam Redfeather, The Lone Redshirt, Kahless of Vulcan, Miranda Fave, Jack Elmlinger, Jerriecan, Bry Sinclair, Nick Lewis, Mike Winchester, and everyone else whose names escape me at the moment. Thanks also go to everyone who has encouraged my photomanipping, as I'd probably have given up on it without all the help and support.
PLANETS, STARSHIPS, AND STARBASES
Sadly I am not a graphic artist—by any means. Thus, I have to resort to using art created by persons more talented than myself for my "cover art" images. Since I regrettably cannot recall whom each individual picture was made by, I'll do my best to make sure that the gifted ladies and gentlemen whose names I do remember—some of whose work contributed to larger pictures—are listed below. Artists who have done art specifically for me or given me direct permission to use their work are given direct credit.
Joran Belar and The Animaniac - creator and graphic artists of Unity One, which they have graciously allowed me to use in my universe. Starbase Echo is designated a Unity-class Space Station in homage to their original creation.
John H. Harris - graphic artist and fellow fanfic author, for creating a number of renders of my starships and their support craft.
Alexander Richardson - graphic artist known for his Master Systems Display artwork, for tolerating my nitpicking and generously using Messenger's name and registry number on one of his pieces. Most of the MSDs seen in the ASDB were done by him.
